The Mustard Seed Initiative
It started from a spirit of revival. Jesus set the example of fellowship and discipleship and we’re following suit.
Matthew 13:31-32
"The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his field. Though it is the smallest of all seeds, yet when it grows, it is the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds come and perch in its branches".
Launching in the fall of 2025, The Mustard Seed Initiative was born out of an unavoidable awareness that our congregation and community needed more than the pulpit - it needed spiritual fellowship and discipleship. What’s the point of bringing people to Christ if we don’t show them how to deepen their relationship with Christ?
Bible study can be confusing and intimidating if you don’t know where to start. That’s where The Mustard Seed Initiative comes in.
Every Sunday evening at 5:30, we gather together in small groups for discussion over our assigned Scripture reading for the week, exploring the context of the passage and how it applies to us today. This setting gives everyone a chance to ask questions about the Bible they may not have been able to ask before while encouraging a deeper relationship with Christ and each other.
