What We Believe

  • We believe the Bible is God’s inspired, infallible Word. It is truth without any mixture of error and is the final authority for what we believe and how we live.

  • We believe in one true and living God who exists eternally in three persons — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — each fully and equally God.

  • We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully man. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose from the dead, and is now seated at the right hand of the Father. He will one day return to reign forever.

  • We believe the Holy Spirit draws people to Jesus, gives new life to those who believe, and empowers believers to live faithfully and serve others.

  • We believe all people are created in God’s image and are deeply loved by Him. However, because of sin, every person is separated from God and in need of His grace.

  • We believe salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. It is a gift from God that cannot be earned but must be received personally through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ.

  • We believe the Church is the body of Christ, made up of all believers. As a local church, we gather for worship, prayer, teaching, fellowship, and service, carrying the Gospel to our community and beyond.

  • We believe baptism by immersion and the Lord’s Supper are ordinances given by Jesus. Baptism is a public testimony of faith, and the Lord’s Supper is a reminder of His sacrifice and our unity in Him.

  • We believe that God established marriage as a sacred covenant between one man and one woman for life. Marriage is designed by God as the foundation of the family and as a picture of Christ’s relationship with His Church. We believe that sexual intimacy is a gift from God to be enjoyed within the bounds of marriage between a husband and wife. We affirm the family as the primary place where faith is nurtured and lived out.

  • We believe followers of Jesus are called to love God, love others, and live out their faith daily through obedience, generosity, service, and sharing the Good News.

  • We believe Jesus Christ will return one day to judge the living and the dead and to establish His eternal Kingdom. Those who have trusted in Him will live forever in His presence.
